PURECO.US: 50T Rear Sprocket + Heavy Duty 520 Non O-Ring Chain (Surron Ultra Bee)

More Torque. Same Bike. Warranty Intact.

Thinking about a power upgrade for a better wheelie, a quicker hole shot, or enough torque to clear a steep hill? A controller flash or motor mod can void your warranty, run hot, or leave you stranded on the trail. Gearing gets you there without touching your electronics.

This 50T rear sprocket and Heavy Duty 520 Non O-Ring chain combo is one of the most common upgrades we get asked about for the Surron Ultra Bee. Same motor. Same battery. Same bike you already trust, just a smarter mechanical setup.

Why Gearing Instead of a Power Mod

Instant torque. A bigger rear sprocket adds leverage at the wheel. Quicker hole shots, easier wheelies, and more grunt on hills that used to bog the stock gearing down.

No electronics involved. Power mods touch your controller, your battery draw, and your heat management. A sprocket swap is purely mechanical. Nothing to flash, nothing to fry.

Warranty friendly. Controller and motor mods are usually the first thing a warranty claim gets denied over. Gearing changes are one of the most common, accepted mods in off-road and street riding.

Built for how you ride. Wheelies, stunts, and hill climbs come down to low-end torque and control, not top speed.

What's In the Box

  • 50T Rear Sprocket: 520 pitch, CNC-machined 7075 aluminum
  • Heavy Duty 520 Non O-Ring Chain, included
  • Chrome or Black finish
  • Direct bolt-on fit for the Surron Ultra Bee. No drilling or modification needed.

Built for Wheelies, Stunts, and Hill Climbs

Stock gearing is a compromise: fine everywhere, great at nothing. This 50T setup is built for riders who spend more time on one wheel or climbing a grade than cruising flat ground.

  • Wheelie and stunt riders get more torque off the bottom, so it takes less clutch and throttle work to get the front end up and keep it there.
  • Street riders get a snappier response off the line at every stoplight.
  • Hill climbers get the extra mechanical advantage that makes the difference between clearing a grade and stalling on it.

The trade-off, honestly: you give up a little top speed. If you're chasing top end on flat ground, this isn't the upgrade for you. If you're chasing torque, control, and the ability to lift the front wheel on command, it is.

Installation

Bolts directly to your stock hub. No drilling or fabrication needed. A chain breaker or press tool is recommended if your chain doesn't have a master link. Budget 30 to 45 minutes for a first time install.

Compatibility

Confirmed fit for the Surron Ultra Bee.

Heads Up
After the first few rides, you’ll probably need to tighten your chain a bit. That’s normal, all new chains stretch slightly as they break in. Quick adjustment and you’re good to go.
